Dear Parents of 3rd and 4th Graders,
We are thrilled to announce auditions for Alice in Wonderland Jr. our upcoming school musical! Below is all the information your child needs to prepare for their audition:
Sign-Ups and Participation:

Audition Sign-Up: Please fill out the 3rd & 4th Grade Musical Sign-up Google Form to sign your child up for auditions!
Audition Requirements:

Song: Your child will be taught a short song to sing from the musical, no need to prepare one in advance!

Dance: Students should be prepared to do a little bit of dancing during the audition, so please ensure they wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. No short-shorts or spaghetti straps, please.

Script Reading: In addition to singing and dancing, students should be ready to read from parts of the ALice in Wonderland Jr. script.
Audition Details:
- Mandatory Audition Clinic
- Date: December 9th, 2024
- Time: 3:00–4:00 PM
- Details: All students planning to audition must attend this clinic! During this time, students will
- Learn the audition song and dance.
- Participate in a discussion about the audition process and what to expect for the show.
- Audition Day
- Date: December 10th, 2024
- Time: 4:00–7:00 PM
- Details: Parents will need to sign their child up for one 20-minute audition slot.
- There will be 9 slots available with up to 10 students per slot.
- During the audition, students will:
- Perform their audition song.
- Show their audition dance.
- Participate in a short cold read with other students in their group

Double Casting: The show will be double cast to ensure every student who auditions gets a chance to be in the show. We want every student to feel included and have their moment to shine!

Production Calendar: Please take a look at the attached Production Calendar and review it carefully

Participation Fee: There is a $100 fee for participating in the play. This fee will cover a cast t-shirt for your child, as well as costumes, set materials, and other production expenses.
